Since the start of the executive order in March we have been sure to uphold the protocols of our local authorities in regards to gathering. However, due to a recent ruling by a Federal judge, and according to Governor Roy Cooper’s Coronavirus briefing on May 20th, churches are now exempt from the executive order and may gather for services and events with social distancing being highly recommended, but not mandatory.
We are so excited to announce that we are open for services!
With that being said, we will be following certain protocols and have developed a new service format to make sure we can worship safely while serving as many people as possible. Please read carefully:
We are moving to two services on Sunday mornings. The first service starts at 9am and ends at 10:30am, and the second service starts at 11:00am and ends at 12:30pm. Only the second service will be live-streamed.
We will be hosting services at a reduced capacity, or around 125 people including volunteers and staff.
Families must sit together maintaining at least a 1-seat distance between another family unit or individual. Those who wish to wear masks may do so, but they are not required in order to attend.
No items will be passed during the service - there will be a giving box located in the back of the worship center with text-to-give being encouraged but not required.
The cafe will be closed and we ask that no one enter that area. We will not be serving coffee for the next few weeks.
If you or someone in your household is sick or has been identified as someone at high-risk of illness from a Coronavirus infection, we ask that you please stay home and continue to worship with us online. If you or anyone in your household has any unusual health symptoms or has been diagnosed with COVID-19, you and your family should not attend.
Our nurseries are now fully open. Kid’s church will open again soon.
The nursing mother’s room will be open for mothers and nursing infants only.
